A few days ago.

As my title says, I can't remember when.........but this was a few days ago:

So, after Chloe and Valley were done eating, I tied Valley back up, and took Chloe back to the pasture. I untied Valley, and took her down by the lake, to eat some grass. I wanted to keep her out for a while, then work with her.

So I got out my newest Horse Illustrated magazine. It had 8 different grooming things for in the winter. I did one to Valley. I got really hot water, and put a hand towel in it. Then got a dry hand towel. I went out, and started to rub Valley down with it. I wasn't thinking real straight. It was a little windy outside, and cold. Although the water was hot, it didn't take but a second for the wind to make it cold :(.

So after I did that, I was going to work with her so the water would dry. I was going to desenitize Valley with the lead rope. But I decided to start with a little bit of lounging(I had gone up to the house to get my Clinton Anderson leadrope). But when she started to canter in circles. . . ... . . she slipped! She fell on her side :(( When she got up, she held her left rear leg up! I was so mad at myself! But she started walkin around, and she seemed to be fine a few minutes later. I decided not to try THAT again!

I ran inside (I tied Vales [Valley's other nickname] up of course first) and got Chloe's blanket. I laughed a whole bunch after I put it on. It was about 3 times to big for her, and only the front to buckles would buckle. The other two..... were WAAAY too big. LOL.

Anyways..... She looked REALLY funny. Especially since, before, I wanted to see what her forelock would look like if I made the bottome a straight line instead of a point...........:D Yeah, that wasn't such a good idea!

Well, I g2g, so,TTYL!

Love,
Sarah
