♣Bad♣ attitude

Howdy ya'll!
Yesterday, Valley had a little attitude. She kept pulling on the lead rope, pushing against me, and trying to walk ahead of me. I flexed her a whole bunch of times, and made her go in circles before I let her eat her food. Her food was the reward.
Then, after she finished eating, I was brushing Chloe, and Valley was impatient. She was pawing the ground and walking back and forth. When Chloe went to eat grass, I put both horses bowls away, shortened Valleys lead rope that wast tied to a pole, and sat down. I waited there until she stopped moving around, and stood still. At first she walked back and forth as much as she could, and pawed the ground. But finally she calmed down, and stood still.
So I untied her and took her down to graze. She pulled on the lead rope, and pushed into me, and tried to get ahead of me basically the whole way down. I had to make her do quite a few circles. Then when she was grazing she kicked out at either a fly, or to hit me. If she was trying to hit me....she succeeded! It didn't hurt THAT bad, but I was tired of her attitude, and she didn't deserve to graze, so I put her back in the pasture, and it was hard, cause she gave me an innocent face with her ears pircked up, and head over fence. But, I didn't bring her back out that day.

Yeah, I know the feeling! Misha will do something bad, then i'll have to punish her and she'll pull off the "inocent dog" act.

Im votin' No,on ur poll, but my friend did. twice. once in the face (i think...) and once in the arm. And my other friend got kicked around her elbow. I never had tho! I'm glad!!!

Yeah, it's really hard with dogs, cause they give you 'puppy eyes'.

Wow, in the FACE??!! Horrible. Yeah, lucky you. At least I didn't get kicked in the face, or hard!!

Sorry about the deleted comments, it posted 4 of the same comments of mine. *Rolls eyes*. I just got impatient, and clicked the button too many times.

She kicked you?!?! Man, she must have an additude...Daisy kicked me once, just below the knee, lightly because I was being dumb and not thinking and chasing her with a leadrope out of her stall....I don't do that anymore! Maybe next time she misbehaves like that or kicks you(which is misbehaving, lol) you can excersise her. That's what I do with Daisy-I walk her, or lounge her. Lounging works best...Valley must have been having a 'mare' day, or just excited about the weather or something...

I always seem to post the longest comments on your blog, I hope you don't mind! :D

Yeah, it was right above the knee. Luckily it wasn't very hard. Lately she's been moody. She's two, so idk if it's because she's in heat or not. It's probably cause I haven't been working with her lately.
Yeah, I usually do lungeing, but..idk why I didn't that time. When school lets out, I'm going to work with her a LOT. Especially if I want to ride her this Summer!

It's ok. Your giving me helpful advice! I don't really care how long your comment is!!
